I have worked with a range of Primary Schools and Early Years Settings to create websites that reflect their aims and ethos, and provide a clear, up-to-date online presence that fulfils all statutory requirements rom the DfE.
My aim is usually to hand the website management back to the school as soon as possible, so that it can become an integral part of teaching, learning and the school community.
I can also undertake some of the management of your website by arrangement, including updating software and security tools, troubleshooting web hosting and domain registration issues and helping to improve search engine visibility etc
It is also possible to build a bespoke package that includes regular website updates of newsletters and school photos, and annual refreshment of information and images.
All sites are built to be responsive, meaning that they display beautifully on a range of devices including laptops, tablets and mobile phones

Content Management Systems I generally use the Wordpress content management system (CMS) which uses a simple drag and drop interface and is very customisable. The website can be redirected to any domain, including the official school domain address - this avoids changing stationery/marketing materials. The platform supports image galleries and slideshows, audio and video streaming, Google Maps, blogging and surveys, embedded documents etc. I can also build websites with Weebly, Google Sites and other CMS as required. |
